Reflexivity Press Opens — Complete Works of Johannes Heinrichs and Kai Froeb

November 20, 2025

We are pleased to announce the opening of Reflexivity Press — an independent publisher for systematic philosophy based in São Martinho do Porto, Portugal.

Our Program

Reflexivity Press makes the philosophical work of two authors digitally accessible:

Johannes Heinrichs

The complete works of reflection philosopher Johannes Heinrichs (*1942) comprise over 40 books from five decades. From his early study on Thomas Aquinas through the monumental five-volume philosophy of language to his democratic theory magnum opus Revolution of Democracy — all these texts now become available in digital form for the first time.

The older works appear as page-identical electronic original editions — fully citable, with identical page numbers to the printed first editions.

Kai Froeb

The philosophical works of publisher founder Kai Froeb (*1963) — including systematic studies on Hegel reception and the connection between philosophy and artificial intelligence — appear as Open Access under the Reflexivity License.

Downloads in Preparation

Please be patient: The download links for PDF and EPUB as well as the purchase links for commercial titles will be activated in December 2025.

Until then, you can already explore all book pages, view the complete bibliographic information, and get an overview of the entire program.

Open Access and Commercial Titles

Reflexivity Press pursues a hybrid model:

  • Kai Froeb’s works: Free as Open Access (Reflexivity License)
  • Johannes Heinrichs’ older works: E-books at the fair price of €9.99
  • New works: Such as the just-published Dialectics and Reflection Logic at €19.99
