📕 E-BookStylistics is understood here as sentence-transcending syntax. The transcendence of sentence syntax has both a quantitative and a qualitative aspect. The qualitative aspect is a meta-syntax: the reflexive play with normal syntax, which manifests in an unheard-of variety of stylistic figures.
Previous stylistics and rhetorics are unable — lacking reflection logic — to show the logical order in this beautiful variety. The rough classification of the more than 64 reflection-logically identified stylistic figures reads: 1. Repetition figures, 2. Analogy figures, 3. Truth tropes, 4. Formal tropes. It is fascinating how the logos of language pursues its own, one might say, pleasurable play precisely in these seemingly quite arbitrary language games.
