The philosophical, social scientific, and psychological ‘action sciences’ flourish like wild growth. There are numerous fashionable trends among them, but no secure standards, which the author summarizes in an Open Letter to Jürgen Habermas (in the appendix). Systematic foundations are laid that future action sciences will no longer be able to do without.
