reflexivitypress.com is the website of the publisher Reflexivity Press. It presents the publisher’s books and their authors and points to where they can be obtained.

Where something remains unclear, write to feedback@reflexivitypress.com.

1. What this site is

Book pages with descriptions, prices and licence information, pages on authors and editions, blog posts and licence texts. Free to read, without registration, without user accounts, without advertising.

2. Buying books

Nothing is ordered or paid for on this website itself. The links for buying lead to Payhip (payhip.com), an external provider through which ordering, payment and delivery are handled.

  • The books are offered as e-books, that is, as files to download.
  • The prices on the book pages are given for orientation. The price and information shown to you during the ordering process at Payhip are authoritative.
  • For the handling at Payhip, Payhip’s own terms and privacy notice also apply.

For questions about an order, write to feedback@reflexivitypress.com.

3. Right of withdrawal for digital content

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you generally have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, this right ends early if supply – for example, making the download available – has begun before the end of that period with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

To withdraw, a clear statement to feedback@reflexivitypress.com is sufficient. Your statutory rights in respect of defective digital content remain unaffected in any case.

4. What you may do with the contents

Each book carries its own licence, stated on its book page:

  • Zero Marginal Cost License (ZMC 1.3) — some of the books by Kai Froeb. What it permits and what not is set out in the licence text.
  • All rights reserved — the books of Johannes Heinrichs and the other books.

Design, cover images and logos are not covered by the ZMC licence: a book may be passed on with its design within the terms of its licence, but the design itself may not be used independently.

For the texts of this website: all rights reserved unless otherwise stated.

Quoting is permitted in all cases, following the usual rules of scholarly work and with the source given.

5. Translations

The texts of this website were originally written in German. The other language versions were produced with the help of machine translation. Freedom from error cannot be guaranteed.

In case of doubt, the German version prevails, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

6. Accuracy

Descriptions, summaries and blog posts are prepared with care but may contain errors. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

If you find an error, please report it. Corrections are welcome.

7. Links to other sites

This site links to others, among them Payhip. We have no influence on their content, availability or handling of your data and accept no responsibility for them. A link is not a recommendation.

8. Availability

The website is provided as it is and as currently available. No availability is promised; pages may change or disappear.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow such a limitation — in particular not for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health.

Purchases are governed by the statutory provisions. Otherwise, no liability is accepted for damage arising from the free use or the unavailability of this website or from information found here.

10. Automated access and AI training

Reading this website by machine is permitted. Whether texts may be used to train AI systems depends on the licence of the work concerned and on the law; the ZMC licence regulates this expressly.

Access that burdens the server is not permitted: mass retrieval at high speed or repeated complete downloading.

11. Privacy

How personal data is handled is set out in the privacy notice.

12. Applicable law

Portuguese law applies, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If you are a consumer, you retain in any case the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

13. Changes

These terms may change when the website changes. The version on this page with the date given below is always authoritative.

14. If you believe a right has been infringed

If you believe that one of your rights is being infringed on this website — a copyright, a personality right or another — write to us. Name the page and the passage.

Justified complaints are remedied without delay, usually within a few days. If the matter is doubtful, the passage concerned is first removed and then clarified.
